C.O.B.R.A.™ Anti-Bully Response Plan

The New Anti-Bully Program Schools Do NOT Want You To Know About

The C.O.B.R.A. Anti-Bully Response Plan is a law enforcement based anti-bullying program that is non-violent and non-confrontational. The program treats bullying like a crime and follows proven, established protocols to create an evidence trail, a chain of custody, and build a rock solid legal case against the bully.

As effective as that is some schools may prefer parents not use the C.O.B.R.A. Anti-Bully Response Plan. Why? Because one of the first steps is for parents to send the principle and teacher a specially crafted certified letter putting them on notice about the bullying.

Change The Game on Bullies

It’s one thing for a parent to inform a teacher their child is being bullied. It’s entirely different when a certified letter arrives with specific language that creates a new level of urgency and gravity.

This is just one step in this comprehensive program designed by Chris Sutton of Clearwater, FL. Sutton is a former street cop, sheriff, and maximum security corrections officer.

Non-Violent Solutions to Bullying

Though he is a full time martial arts school owner, he did not include physical or verbal defense in the C.O.B.R.A. Anti-Bully Response Plan. Sutton says, “It’s always best to know how to defend yourself. Self-defense is the most important insurance you can have. But, this program is not about kicking or punching or fancy verbal defense. It’s about turning the tables on the bullies in ways they never saw coming.”

Build An Evidence Trail on Your Bully

In the C.O.B.R.A. Anti-Bully Response Plan, Sutton teaches how to build a legal case against a bully. The program includes letter templates to send to teachers, principles, and even the school board.

While some programs advocate contacting the parents of a bully, Sutton says that’s not necessary. Sutton says, “Contacting the parents is a stress you do not have to go through.

We’ll show you exactly what to say to the local police so they are legally obligated to go to the bullies’ home and speak to the parents as part of an investigation. A cop knocking on their door will get any parents attention fast.”

Avoiding Bullies In Person and Online

The C.O.B.R.A. Anti-Bully Response Plan includes detailed bully prevention strategies for in person and online social bullying.

One of those strategies details where and when your child may be in “shark infested waters.” Shark infested waters are the times and places where bullying is most apt to occur. The bus stop, the playground, unsupervised time at school are all shark infested waters.

Just teaching your child to recognize shark infested waters is a step towards avoiding bullies during that time. Once bullying has occurred, the program provides a step-by-step action plan with scripts, letter templates, evidence gathering techniques, role plays, and specific questions to ask your kids that elicit the answers you are after.

Sutton says, “The idea is to get as many people on your side as possible to build the case against the bully. The result will be massive evidence and possibly legal bills due from the parents. That is about as anti-bully as you can get. Guess what? Those parents will be on your side as well because they will do whatever they can to avoid this process and legal expenses. It’s truly poetic justice.”
